The Mendiz House is located in the Mendiz Valley, in a small village in the municipality of Alijó, a few miles from Pinion. It is situated in the heart of the Douro wine region, between mountains and the Douro River. 

With the Douro traditional architectural style and its rustic appeal, this house dates back to the eighteenth century but was recently restored following strict criteria. On one hand, we kept the architecture style, the history of the house and its surrounding landscape. On the other hand, the reconstruction tried to respond to the demands of tourists today. The Mendiz House consists of five suites, as well as several spaces for resting and socializing (games room, music and reading room, tasting room, wine cellar and wine vat). It also has an outdoor pool, a fully equipped kitchen, Internet access, cable TV and DVD. At the gastronomic level, we invested heavily on a kitchen with a regional appeal. The house is a place for moments of relaxation or fun with friends right in the Douro Wine Region.

Lavradores de Feitoria Winery is part of the group alltodouro.com, an innovative initiative that brings together companies linked to the Douro (wine, tourism and culture) that come together to enhance the Port and Douro DOC wines as a tourist destination, while valuing other associated products as well. The House has five bedrooms (Can accommodate 10 people, and possibly more in two extra beds).
