Opened on February 12, 2003, the Museum Eduardo Tavares embodies an aspiration of the municipality of S. João da Pesqueira that allows you to experience and honor some of the Eduardo Tavares' works.

This museum is located in an archeological space, with pieces from around the county of which some are about 6,000 years old. In the museum there is also a tourist office and a library with materials related to Douro.

Tuesday to Friday: 09:00 hrs - 12:30 hrs ( 9:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.) and 14:00 hrs - 17:30 hrs (2:00 p.m. -5:30 p.m.)

Saturday and Sunday: 14:00 hrs - 17:30 hrs (2:00 p.m.- 5:30 p.m.)
