Quinta do Pobre is located on the edge of the Municipality of Carrazeda Ansiães. A local man who was extremely poor survived shaping nature to meet his needs in this quinta (farm). This man, named Antonio, had 12 children that he raised in this inhospitable site. Even today you can see his work at the site and its integration in the landscape is really worth a visit. Around the farm one can find all kinds of plants that this man used that enabled him to live up to 93 years without ever having been to a hospital. 

It can be visited in 4x4, mountain bike or on foot.
